
5 Day Archery Deer Hunt
Hunt South Dakota’s trophy deer across thousands of acres of private land with guided access to prime whitetail and mule deer habitat.
- Runs from September 1st through the third weekend of October
- Conducted on 5,000+ acres of private land with diverse habitat
- Hunts take place from ladder stands or elevated blinds
- Deer tags valid for Whitetail or Mule Deer
- Notable record: one of South Dakota’s top 5 non-typical whitetails was harvested just half a mile from the lodge

What to Bring
Below is a list of things we find most people will need and use. Please bring anything else you may find suitable.
- Bow (Crossbow only if permitted under SD law)
- Tree Harness (hunter’s choice)
- South Dakota Hunting License (Non-Resident Hunters Must Apply Between March 1st – April 1st) https://gfp.sd.gov
- Appropriate hunting clothes
- Breakfast for before the hunt
- Snacks and water for throughout the day
- Lunch for in the field
- Cooler for food, water and to take cape and meat.
- Camera to capture memories
- Anything else you may need
